Efraín & Raquel Argüello Aguilar

We have been working with youth through adventure camp ministry in Costa Rica since 2011, and began partnering with Nexus in 2014. Since that time we have also been investing in our local community and discipling the volunteers who have worked with us. Efra serves as the WMI Latin America Coordinator.

Joe and Darlene Bahr

Joe and Dar live in Colorado and have been involved in ministry to young people and developing leaders for the past 20+ years in a variety of ministry settings…including prison. Joe is focusing on Mexico and developing Kingdom builders. They developed a heart for Mexico while living on the border in El Paso, Texas for 10 years. To learn more Follow Joe on his blog.

Catherine and Aaron Banks

Catherine and her husband Aaron have been doing student ministry for 5 years together and have a huge passion for the outdoors and helping to start church based wilderness ministry. Catherine serves as the administrator for Outdoor Leaders International

Sam and Mandy Begg

Sam and Mandy currently live in Salt Lake City, UT. Sam has 23 years of youth ministry experience with Young Life. The first seven of those years in Young Life were spent overseas in Germany. The last three years he has been a regional trainer for Young Life. Sam also currently teaches HS bible part time at a local Christian school.

Jennifer Campbell

Jennifer is our fabulous behind the scenes guru making it all happen. She does an amazing job of keeping our organization in line as our administrator.

Juan Carlos and Courtney Cevallos

Juan Carlos and Courtney have been serving overseas for the last 8 years developing youth leaders throughout Latin America using outdoor and adventure activities. Their passion is to see youth leadership being developed and discipled to reach the next generation.

AD

Dr. AD is the founder of the Wilderness Ministry Institute and the author of Outdoor Leadership: Theology, Theory and Practice, and editor of The Personality of Jesus: How to Introduce Young People to Jesus Christ and Help them Grow in their Faith. He brings 25 years of national and international ministry experience to the Nexus team.

Daniel and Georgiana Eakins

Daniel and Georgi have had a heart for Romania for 10+ years and are excited to be moving there to serve and disciple youth leaders and young married couples. They have been involved in music ministry for the past 6 years with a band called The Ineloquent and hope to continue using music to build relationships in Romania. Craig and Rebecca H.

Dr. Craig brings 7 years of student ministry experience and 18 years of senior/lead pastor experience to the Nexus team. Craig and Rebecca have 4 kids. He has a heart for reaching the world for Jesus with the grace of the gospel.

Jon and Heather Hoppin

Jon and Heather Hoppin have been training youth leaders and working in youth ministry for 15 years. With their shared passion for wilderness ministry they are a great fit for Nexus International and WMI.

Matthew and Sarah Lebofsky

We are Matthew, Sarah, George, Amelia and Eliza Lebofsky serving and living in Estonia. In Tallinn, Estonia we are starting a Campus ministry to reach this lost country. Both Sarah and I’s life have been changed forever by Jesus through a campus ministry and we are here to give our lives to the students of Tallinn.

Bill and Karen Maston

Bill is the founder of Nexus International and brings a wealth of leadership and ministry experience from his 25 years on Young Life staff. Bill (more commonly known as Gandalf among the younger staff) has been developing youth leaders in over 25 different countries with Nexus International. You can see his ministry at his blog.

Cliff and Joy McCalister

Cliff and Joy McCalister raised their three kids in Mexico, where they served with the United World Mission for 15 years. They have been unconsciously living the Nexus charisms for thirty-three years now, with the majority of their previous ministry in the realm of Christian camping. When the nest emptied they needed a new route forward as missionaries, but with a strong emphasis on church-based discipleship. Nexus was the perfect fit.

Matt and Sarah Scott

Matt and Sarah live in Colorado and have 3 children. Matt has over 15 years of experience doing youth ministry and developing leaders. Matt has been using the wilderness and adventure in youth ministry Matt and Sarah have a heart for reaching the next generation around the world for
Christ.

Skeet and Angie Tingle

Skeet and Angie live in Colorado, where they raised 4 children. (And, they now have 8 grandchildren!) They have been involved in ministry, during their thirty-five years of marriage, creating space for people to encounter Jesus Christ in a variety of places and platforms, including wilderness, camping and soul care ministries. Angie spends time as an artist and spiritual director. God has spoken Innkeeper and Shepherd over Skeet. They are committed to leading leaders into deeper relationships with Jesus, making disciples and helping them care for their own souls, for the sake of others.

Daniel and Reeta Treat

Daniel and Reeta Treat have been working in media production for over 20 years. Over the years they have seen first hand how one-on-one discipleship changes lives efficiently and effectively. Now they have teamed up with Nexus International and Wilderness Ministry Institute as media coordinators to help support this amazing team of servant leaders.

Andrew and Chantel Underwood

Andrew joined the Nexus staff in 2018 and has spent over 15 years working in domestic and international experiential education, wilderness programming and camp management settings; in addition to 10 plus years of youth ministry and leadership development. He is married to Chantel and they have a son named Judah.

Joel and DeAnn Vermillion

Joel and DeAnn have been working with young people in a wilderness ministry setting for over 20 years, including with their own 4 kids! They lived overseas for 13 years (in Central America and Scandinavia) prior to joining Nexus International and the Wilderness Ministry Institute in 2010.

Andrei and Svetlana

Andrei has experience in youth outdoor ministry for over 12 years. Since 2021 our family joined the Nexus team. We have a heart for the youth of Kyrgyzstan. We raise our two children and expect the third one) Serving through NGO organizations and in the local church community.
